"The Woman In The Library" by Sulari Gentill. It's about an author in Australia sharing chapters of her current WIP with an American pen pal. Between chapters of her book, we get little snippets of their correspondence, during which she begins to suspect he's a serial killer.

I will never use AI for my covers, editing, translation, or anything else. It is not only useless to me as an author, it is actively hostile and harms every skill related to book production.
If you're an author against AI used to generate writing, you better back everyone else in the chain too.

Depends on the story, but generally my stories stick to a core cast of about two to three major characters. I'm not really sure why.

I intended to adapt a public domain character as part of my supporting cast, but then I found out that Archie Comics had a similar character with the same name. So I changed her name from "Penny" to "Angie" and gave her a line about how her father, Archie, won the name debate.
