Mohamed Salah's decision to talk to reporters was premeditated.

Salah’s sense of hurt and dissatisfaction is understandable. His pride has been severely dented.

But that does not excuse his decision to go nuclear.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

Early kick off might help, less time for atmosphere to build. Opportunity to get in there early, get the job done and get out
Much as a draw would sting, we have to recognise how difficult today's going to be.

Given their style and quality, Villa would be a very tricky side at the best of times. But playing away, on two day's rest, with a squad that's a mix of injured, risking injury and only just fit is a nightmare.

But remember guys, Gary Neville and his cronies say he’s a defensive midfielder…
Another goal and assist for Mikel Merino. Since moving to centre-forward a month ago, he has scored four and assisted three. And Arsenal have produced their best attacking football with him up front (admittedly not in second half tonight). Merino is the man right now. The nine.

Arsenal are down their two starting CBs, now a third CB, and conceded only .34 xG. Either it's devil magic or Arteta is just a ridiculously good coach.

Maybe it’s just me, but that never felt that nervy to me. We should’ve been 2-0 earlier than we were but Brentford never felt a threat even with a patchwork defence for Arsenal

Eze and Saka made a big difference, Merino and White the stars of the night for me

Injuries have to stop soon right? 🤦‍♂️
December 3, 2025 at 9:25 PM
I know we are pretty traumatised but I can’t see that Rice treatment being a full blown injury

A proper calf strain would mean they would never let him walk off without support

Cramp more likely imo

No Thiago for Brentford feels huge. Schade and Outtarro up front feels like they are set up for counters galore
December 3, 2025 at 6:20 PM
More rotation than I expected but feel it’s definitely needed. I’m sure we will Gyokeres from the bench at about 60 mins gone

Hopefully there will be no need of Saka and Eze
Arsenal: Raya, White, Mosquera, Hincapie, Calafiori , Rice, Zubimendi, Odegaard, Madueke, Martinelli, Merino

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Timber, Lewis-Skelly, Norgaard, Nwaneri, Eze, Saka, Jesus, Gyokeres

Things I like to wake up and read on game day
Only Wolves (1) have picked up fewer points away from home in the Premier League than Brentford this season (3).

Currently good availability on Ticket Exchange :

Brentford is a Category C fixture, so if you are feeling lucky, you could pick up a lower tier ticket for just £32

Get involved

Brentford (h)
Villa (a)
Brugge (a)
Wolves (h)
Everton (a)

There are no easy runs, but I see the next 5 as a very ‘low key’ run, where hopefully we can just get on with business, and allow the headlines and attention to be elsewhere

We need some ‘quiet time’ now. Let’s get under the radar for a bit

Yesterday's game was not vintage Arsenal, we looked very tired, but there's no need to panic! Check out this morning's episode below:

7 points from this week is an elite return but vs the 10 men I think we should’ve shown more on the ball

Incredible how obvious the brilliance of Saliba + Gabi is when they’re not there, very difficult to progress the ball without them, and counters were aplenty

Tired legs everywhere, rest needed

Here here 💪
Caicedo spent all week listening to his own hype and buying it. Shouldn’t have.
November 30, 2025 at 5:09 PM
What a colossally idiotic moment from Caicedo, they were on top. What a moron

Criminal tackle. Correct decision
November 30, 2025 at 5:09 PM
Get him off the fucking pitch. Criminal
November 30, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Pretty tired looking performance so far ngl. Maybe paying for the big efforts in the last 2 games
November 30, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Progressing the ball without Saliba is proving difficult. If this is level at half time I’d love to see 45 mins from Odegaard, this game is crying out for him
November 30, 2025 at 4:49 PM
I’d expect far less adventurousness from Rice and Timber today on the basis of Saliba being out

Arteta will want sensible heads around the raw CB partnership, I imagine he’ll still look for some threat from Cala, but mainly think he’ll rely on Eze and Saka to produce some magic for goals
November 30, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Saliba out is the biggest kick in the balls we could get right now
