A few years ago Mike Laidlaw gave a great GDC talk on creative direction / narrative direction, which had a side tangent into "why you should write your narrative bible like a ttrpg book" and I've been using that technique for side projects ever since and it's been a joy.

And finally, here is the foliage work for Exocross. The new map and old ones required a bunch of new types of grasses, trees and bushes. Alongside new tools and processes, I used Houdini to make everything engine-ready and save lots of time. 🌴🌳✨👇

Some sort of flying vehicle from "Fragonetto" with a horizontal vectored engine that allows it to fly only very fast. The lack of floatation or vertical landing capabilities very much limited it's general usa and sales.

In my spare time these past few months, I made a new scene in a mentorship with @beddows.bsky.social.

With Nanite and it's limitations (UE5.1) I used Houdini and some crafty shaders to get everything in place and speed up the workflow.
