Red Dead 1 is finished! Next up on the list of games to finish this year, a holdover from back in 2024 - Control. It's been so long I've decided to start over from the beginning. The game's a delight though, so replaying the first half or so won't be a problem. Hehe.

An morning stream of RDR to start the day right. Main baddie is dead, and pretty sure that now I'm in the epilogue/denouement. Killer game overall, and I didn't even really explore a lot of the side content. This will be the first Rockstar open world game I've finished!

A few years ago I drafted a science-fantasy #ttrpg developed out of The Fantasy Trip that I called Rocket Patrol.
It ran to 20,000 words in the first draft.
I used the character of Lucinda Rocket to explain some of the rules examples. Maybe it's time to pick it back up.

Not sure why but Red Dead hits way better than GTA games. I don't think it's just the setting, either. Although that helps a lot. Anyway, my playthrough continues this morning.

More Red Dead Redemption for the stream tonight. Loving it so far, hopefully I stick with it longer than I usually do in Rockstar/open world games. Never finished a Rockstar game, Bethesda RPG, Cyberpunk or The Witcher, etc. But I want to finish at least one this year.
