Hi @mayorofseattle.bsky.social can we make this closure permanent?
The last bit of lakefront accessible to the people does not need to be a dangerous road. The city will be totally fine without this road.

This section of road is more useful to the city as a park, you know this is true.
Do it

Hey @mayorofseattle.bsky.social why are we so excited about inviting FIFA to Seattle?

They are supporting trumps child rape and brown people murder.

Can you uninvite the corrupt child raping murderers please

@fifaclubworldcup.bsky.social supports racism and corruption and child rape.

Well I gave @amtrak.com a try and now I see why all the reviews are negative.

This a a horrifically run “service” and America should be profoundly embarasssd how bad they have let this become.

It’s like the business is run by people that hate trains and can’t read.

"Sound Transit defines crowded as 4.4 square feet per standing passenger. If Sound Transit adopted load standards comparable to systems like New York City’s subway (3 sq. ft. / passenger), it could increase “capacity” by roughly one-third without building anything new."

I have to admit, I really did not expect that we'd get to January 12 without an Executive Order or a major policy rollout from Katie Wilson's office.

I have been heartened by the number of Washington cities who saw the statewide neighborhood cafe bill die in both 2024 and 2025 but realized they can just legalize neighborhood cafes and corner stores on their own.

The biggest transit story in 2026 in Puget Sound is certainly going to be the realignment of Sound Transit's entire capital plan. The second biggest story is going to be whether Pierce Transit is able to go to the ballot and win funding for a service increase for the first time since 2002.

Yep; am aware that current Teslas have emergency egress from the rear seats. Not my ‘21 M3, though, as I explained.
And no emergency responders access from the outside, so.

I’m very anti religion but I have finished visiting all the Camino Real missions.
the trail of cultural / human eradication these facilities perpetrated is wild.

The facilities are very impressive and the people all very nice. Go see these places

Today I learned (in a conversation with @staterepjuliareed.bsky.social about her new bill, HB 2095) that in Washington a driver is currently presumed liable for a collision if they strike a bridge, but not if they strike and harm someone walking on a sidewalk.

Hi new followers-
Several years ago I decided to start documenting how regularly people in my city of Seattle were getting hurt while trying to get around via walking or biking, in as close to real-time as possible.

In response to consistent feedback I'm going to continue on this platform.

I'm not on the scene yet, but was sent this photo from Beacon Avenue and Stevens Street.
