🙌 PEOPLE POWER!

This Saturday, the Ecuadorian government announced that it has revoked the environmental license for the Loma Larga project!

This is the result of community power and peaceful resistance!
DPM Metals must abide by the law, listen to communities and definitively cancel the project!

#Ecuador Over 90,000 people reportedly took part in yesterday's march demanding a stop to a controversial mining project by Canada's Dundee Precious Metals in an ecologically sensitive paramo that provides drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people. Rights and the rule of law are at stake.
Today, thousands of Cuencanos are taking to the streets to march for the protection of water against metal mining, showing an overwhelming opposition to Canadian mining in the paramo de Kimsakocha, Ecuador!
