This is very helpful. Pretty clear to me that this agent was never in serious danger, that he drew his gun as the driver was shifting from reverse to drive (probably with intent to threaten her into compliance), and that third shot was gratuitous shooting of a fleeing suspect.

I don't own many individual stocks, but I do own MSFT and AMZN (purchased a few years ago during a slump). I trimmed 1/4 to 1/3 this week, taking some profit and reducing my exposure. Zero regrets if NVDA has a great quarter and tech gets another run off of it. AI math ain't mathing.

I don't get what's going on with the senators who are getting $1M payouts. But if they're getting reimbursed for personal legal expenses, then I have 2 probs:
Congress can't give itself a raise that takes effect in the current term.

My 4 points on abolishing the filibuster:
- Constitutionally, the Senate is already designed to be a drag on pure majoritarian rule.
- It has been used mainly for vile purposes, e.g. segregation.
- When has it ever helped us?
- Gridlock is bad. Shutdowns are bad. Debt ceiling standoffs are bad.
