Update!
We've been in the country for a bit, but have been staying in hotels. Thankfully, we've found a place to rent starting the 1st. Once we're unpacked (and computers are setup again), we'll be able to get back to work~

Looking forward to digging back into the submissions we've received!

Personal Update: Due to anti-trans legislation under the current administration, my partner and I are forced to relocate. The press will be on temporary hiatus as we move, but the team is still reviewing submissions, things are just slower than originally planned.

We appreciate your patience! 📚🏳️‍⚧️

This 100%
I think this also goes for many of the editors in the short fiction magazine space. We're weirdos who love stories, and often writers ourselves who've been in the submission trenches. I think a lot of us got into this game just because we wanted be able to get more of your stories into the world.
I promise you, once you free yourself from the notion that other writers are your competition and start viewing them as your fellow weirdos who share similar special interests as you, your life in publishing will become so much easier.

My advice: diversify your reading. You’ll find more great books that way and you’ll support writers who actually need it AND you’ll be less susceptible to heartbreak when monsters are revealed because you won’t have all your little emotion eggs in that one monster’s basket.
