Eastern Ireland. July '23.
We Europeans probably won't be as happy with the coming round of unequal treaties as our forebears were with the earlier ones.

Different music emerging from two rooms here is giving life in Edge City a certain Charles Ives touch, though the beautiful effect is marred by the house alarm down the road.

Having opened a tin of condensed milk to use as a cream substitute for a pudding topping and tasting the revolting stuff for the first time ever, I can either put it straight into the bin or buy more stuff to use it up in baking and then put all that into the bin together afterwards.

The stridently anti-Ukraine anti-EU members of the academy in Ireland and the minor politicians of the same stripe have gone largely silent lately. Either they're all still on their skiing breaks or the joke has finally worn off their épater la bourgeoisie shtick.
