Some consume 5 a day, like their roughage, but with dyslexia we can manage only 5 a week. We could try to dress it up as "close reading", but we fear we might be rumbled.

I have a big problem with people letting the Americans off like this. It doesn’t matter anymore if it was ‘Russian intelligence’. His popularity is still 40%, whole swathes of the media support it all, and the supposed opposition refuses to criticise him beyond mild rebuke.

The stridently anti-Ukraine anti-EU members of the academy in Ireland and the minor politicians of the same stripe have gone largely silent lately. Either they're all still on their skiing breaks or the joke has finally worn off their épater la bourgeoisie shtick.
