Every couple months I get the Capricorn urge to start paying off my student loans for the moral high ground and have to remind myself that no one - especially not the people who claim to care - actually cares. The people who claim to care only use it as a way to kick poor folks (like me).

Trying to set up openmw with TR and high quality texture packs on my laptop and downloading/unpacking textures is taking so long I'm considering cleaning my room as it will be more stimulating.

There's "Clanker" discourse now? I have never believed this place had the juice to become another twitter but now it looks possible. Maybe I can actually enjoy a website on the Internet again, I just need a couple million more people to sign up.

Tbh if there was a candidate who was pro trans folks, immigration and abortion I would vote for them regardless of other issues as far as I can tell. I would accept 4 coal fired turbines operating 24/7 in my backyard for this.

I've long been aggrieved about predation in nature, but this brings up a good point that animals are actually freeloaders as well.
i'm a normal american man and when i see the light of my huge useless pickup truck retroreflected in the eyes of a distant deer or raccoon i pull off the side of the road and have a life-altering panic attack because that thing isn't working for a living, is basically stealing food out of my mouth

Very disappointing to see this place is apparently worse than old twitter about using the ban hammer on posters being posters. Considering deleting. Though I dunno where I'd go.

As a gun enjoyer I will say that NRA is extremely ineffective at supporting gun rights, because they don't care about gun rights. They supported regulation of bump stocks back in 2017 ( www.npr.org/2017/10/05/5... ) because they have no principles. They should denounce Trump with their full chest.

I want some sort of abominable cold tea beverage, in the realm of matcha, but with no sugar. Something astringent and bitter, but refreshing and hydrating. Something that makes sensation go brr but doesn't have any sweeteners whatsoever so I don't have to feel guilty about having two giant cups.

It’s kinda interesting that they’re calling back to Nazi germany whereas the Nazis use of Fraktur was calling back to 19-18th century *germany*. The equivalent for the us would be something like Caslon.
