As the Beatles once sang, "Love is all you need."
In *this* household we’re celebrating Tinsel’s 4th anniversary.

I fostered Tinsel when she was a bag of bones. She was visibly old, stinky, & nobody wanted her. I figured given how rickety she was, she’d be alive < a year, so I just adopted her. Here she is 4 years later, no longer stinky & plump.

I sincerely apologize.
Our Big Cat, Ted, died in our arms last night. He was 10 years old. Not young, but not old either. He had a mass in his chest that was making it impossible to breathe.

I don’t know if he died peacefully, but he died while his family held him. We should all be so lucky.

We loved you so much, Ted.

Really? You’re willing to give your unlocked phone to a stranger?

To my knowledge, it's not a visa but an ETA, similar to the ESTA required for UK/EU citizens visiting the US. I think the EU, particularly the Schengen zone, plans to implement similar systems, although they haven't started yet.
Is there a simple reason why we need visas to go to the UK now? I’ve been going there pretty regularly on and off for more than 20 years, and I’ve never needed one before.

I wish people understood that tone doesn't always come through in text. If they jokingly share a bad take, we might not realize it's a joke.
instead of invite codes this site should require a personal reference from someone stating that you understand what a joke is

That's absolutely stunning!
In a brief break between snowstorms, I ventured out to check how frozen the lake was. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw this stunning heron land gracefully on the water’s edge. I waited for the ripples to settle, and it rewarded me with this perfect shot.

Wow, if I didn’t know any better, I'd think that was my cat from the '70s. She had one blue eye and one green eye and was completely deaf. I loved her dearly.
A favorite from my collection - this luminous little one from the 1960s.
