People will be capitalism brained and then forget how the demand curve works. They aren't acting like babies, it's an understood part of how supply and demand works.
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

people calling this purity testing, you see how he's clearly dishonest here right? Like it wasn't a skull and crossbones, it didn't resemble a nazi symbol, it was very clearly an SS symbol. Say what you will about growth but this is obvious lying.
Years ago I got a skull and crossbones tattoo with my buddies in the Marines.
I was appalled to learn it closely resembled a Nazi symbol. I altered it yesterday, into something that isn't deeply offensive to my core beliefs.

“doesn’t have nazi tattoos” is actually an even lower bar than it appears at face value when you realize that most artists (correctly) won’t even *do* nazi tattoos, so you kind of have to go out of your way to find someone willing if you decide you want one.

I used to deliver appliances and this is absolutely true. Everything you hate about electric ranges has already been solved. Your landlord just sucks and buys shitty electric ranges.
a big reason people hate electric stoves is cause we refuse to put landlords in The Contraption so a fuckload of people get stuck with rickety ass landlord special electric stoves which do straight up suck.

I realize the real issue people had with Vince losing #BB27 is people confuse a lot of gameplay and a lot of lying with good gameplay and good lying. It's a lot of "he did so much" but no real assessment of the quality of the moves he did or the lies he told

this is a bit of a head scratcher considering how much the last few segments of this game are explicitly about the meta narrative. Like the big villain reveal is kind of meaningless without the meta stuff.

This actually reminds me of when I did my season 1 of survivor rewatch earlier this year. The thing with season 1 of survivor is it's actually a really frustrating watch post merger. There are so many opportunities to break up the alliance but all the other players refuse to vote together.
My hot take on this season of big brother is that the blockbuster is not a bad gameplay mechanic in and of itself. It's just a shift in the meta that these players are terrible at, and to be clear, some like Rachel and even Keanu did strategize around it correctly.

I was on Crunchyroll's roster and the only auditions I EVER saw were those specifically for trans characters.
Bad enough considering trans characters in anime are quite rare, but it's made even worse by the fact I only ever got sent trans masc characters.
