Knitting again the lovely peacock feather shawl by Lyudmila Aksenik. I’ve previously done it to use up leftover yarn, but this time I treated myself to Malabrigo Arroyo 🧶

Lovely autumnal walk around Borde Hill Gardens today

Yesterday I got 2 projects off the needles and another one is close to done, so it’s time to look at my stash and choose what to knit next. I think it’ll be these 2 with a bit of pattern but not too complicated. 1 will be in the yarn 🧶 shown (rare for me) and 2 the yarn in pic 3. Exciting!

Hats for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I mostly knit very simple hats to use up leftover 🧶 yarn and they mainly go to charity. Sometimes there’s a baby hat.

I don’t really have any spooky knitting for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits but I do have a black cat! 🧶 And she is often found with my knitted objects 😊

Today I'm trying knitting on DPNs for the first time. Fortunately there are lots of great resources online to help me. But wish me luck #knitsky friends 🤞🧶

Something for #FOFriday on #Knitsky 🧶 I had forgotten how tiny first size cardigans are!

I don't have much to show for this week's #ShowMeYourKnits because I don't really knit socks. I do however sometimes use up oddments making myself bedsocks (no heel, just like popsox but in DK) 🧶

This week for #ShowMeYourKnits it's knitting that brings us joy or that we knit to care. I get immense joy seeing the things I knit being worn by friends, family and their little ones. I don't like to share photos of other people and kids, so here are a few knits that were well received by cats 😻🧶

Drat! Didn't spot this error until I was picking up stitches for the button border 😦 Must have lost my way when I started decreasing. Here comes the 🐸 #Knitting #Knitsky 🧶

So this week for #ShowMeYourKnits it’s Autumn-themed knits. The best I can offer are these in Autumnal colours. 🧶

I don’t have many photos of scarves for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I tend to do scarves to use up leftover 🧶 and often start a scarf, get bored or run out of yarn and turn it into a cowl 😊

Dear #Knitsky friends. I knit a lot, mostly sweaters, but have never done a top down sweater. I see most people on here knit that way and am intrigued. If I wanted to try it what would be a good simple clearly written pattern to start with? 🧶

WIPs for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. As usual I have 4 different projects on the go. A tricky (cable) one, 1 or 2 lacy or textured and one very basic. That way I can knit whatever mood I'm in and whether I'm concentrating, watching TV or distracting myself from migraine. 🧶

Really peeved. Yesterday I made good progress on a child’s cardigan in this yarn 🧶 Until I noticed that the speckles were aligning into what looked like faded vertical stripes ☹️ so it had to be ripped out. The yarn will be saved for a baby blanket in the future.
