The fact that Jack Smith is asking to be questioned publicly tells me 1) he doesn't trust Congress not to misrepresent what he says, and 2) he's very confident in what he has to say.

Btw I too was a sophomore when he died. I still see the look on my teachers face, English class, when they played the announcement from the news on the PA system at school. my heart sank. 
I was a sophomore in high school when he died. A nun ran out on stage (we were there for some reason) and it was so shocking. I cried for days.

I was in a Catholic school in MI when he was campaigning. The nun suddenly told us all we going outside and walking to the car to because his cavalcade of cars was gonna go right past our school. I had the honor of waving at him. Ha ha I too was so sad when he was killed. 😢
