4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care - Los Angeles Times

Don’t ever tell me that Christians support the GOP. There is nothing Christian or Christ-like about this. Just plain old cruelty and callousness:
4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care
In 2023, a Mexican girl, 4, was allowed U.S. entry for lifesaving medical care. She and her parents, who live in Bakersfield, have been told they must leave.

Quite enjoying digging into my friend and rising scholar @eostrinidad.bsky.social’s new book Suble Webs! Offering a new approach to longstanding questions about who affects change in and around schools, and how they do it, written in a very approachable fashion. Recommend summer reading!

There's no question about "how" they wound up in graves. IDF shot and killed them. Indeed, this is not disputed. The red of the passive voice in a case like this is unprofessional, a total failure to adhere to journalistic standards.

Academic fam, serious question:

Has anyone ever had ANY luck whatsoever logging into Google Scholar and being able to change anything on their profile?

I have had the same interests and photo for 6 years because I cannot change them

“The goal has always been to keep the masses divided so we cannot unite against the special interests tearing our democracy apart. Keeping everyone undereducated pairs nicely with such a plan because then we will never realize our true power.”

Every Child is No Longer Welcome in Our Public Schools
Anyone who believes "Everyone Is Welcome" in public schools is ostracized because of a larger plan to keep us separated by our differences. It's time to reject that premise and unite.
