Finally got to watch the 5 ep follow up to #Watanare.
The layover didn't do it any favors as the meantime between airings made it hard to remember what worked so well in S1.
It does finally get around to saying what it wants to about love, though its not a very satisfying conclusion.

I think I not only found my anime of the season but also of the year! How Journal with Witch so far taught me how your feelings matter, are valid, operate differently from person to person, are complex even in seemingly simple situations, etc. Such a masterclass of the human heart and psyche ❤️

I caught up with #OshiNoKo today, and even though this arc is where I originally put the manga on hold, I’m glad to see the adaptation is still top tier and truly elevates the source material.
This production gives me hope that we might get another shot at seeing this story ended properly.
