I loved so much of this movie. The characters are enchanting, the world is captivating, & the story is beautifully realized with mesmerizing visuals. The ending left me with a slight sour taste & wanting more.
I definitely need to watch it again to fully appreciate it.

Finally got to watch the 5 ep follow up to #Watanare.
The layover didn't do it any favors as the meantime between airings made it hard to remember what worked so well in S1.
It does finally get around to saying what it wants to about love, though its not a very satisfying conclusion.

I think I not only found my anime of the season but also of the year! How Journal with Witch so far taught me how your feelings matter, are valid, operate differently from person to person, are complex even in seemingly simple situations, etc. Such a masterclass of the human heart and psyche ❤️
