The only sour taste in my mouth after this episode is the use of Eri's power.
Unfortunately, its been the MO of the last few seasons to give us big, earthshaking events (Bakugo's death, Edgeshot's sacrifice) & walking them back shortly thereafter.

Wrestling the body away from Shigaraki is an interesting turn, but I was pretty keen on the idea of Bakugo having the ultimate victory over him & focusing the remaining time on Deku vs Shigaraki. Surely we aren't done with Shigaraki here & we can always come back around to it.

Reavealing that AFO have been the puppet master to Shigaraki's life is a crazy reveal!
Even moreso, that he mutated Decay into a purely destructive force just to drive the kid into despair & villainy.

Going in to Class 10 as Santa seems like an all time bad idea.
Also, Santa only discriminates between kids, its his whole thing!
I wonder if that's the key to this? Is he going to resist giving up his thumbs because the children are naughty?

I love this reveal & what it does for worldbuilding this society that reveres the youth so much that they can't punish them for even the worst offenses.
If Sanda is found out, what would they do? He is Santa & a threat, but he is also a child who they cant punish.

After finally seeing Aristide's brother & getting info on their relationship & current dealings, I am now extremely excited to see more of him & hope he & Melphie meet soon!

Melphie's genuine concern for Aristide resigning his life to his duty is pitch perfect for her & resolving to protect him the only way she can (cooking monsters) is amazing!
I also love Aristide finally confirming that he knows about her past, but is letting Melphie tell him in her own time.

This was a wonderful episode for Shiori. It did a ton to further deepen the complexity of her character, while still obscuring her motivations or how they may have changed since meeting Hinako.
