Slowly collecting personalised prints from performances that mean the absolute world to me. Managed to get Laura Bailey and David Hayter this month! I got Jennifer English for BG3's Shadowheart a few years ago, but would so love to get her and Ben Starr together for an Expedition 33 one someday.

BRAVO VINCE. Insane debut two episodes from Pluribus.

Go in as blind as you can if it's not too late.

It's so startlingly different in tone from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, but you can feel the DNA running through it. Very excited to see where this goes.

Finally found a moment to watch Shōgun after all this time. I really have almost no words to describe it - that's the best season of TV I've seen since Chernobyl. Stunningly shot, movingly told, beautifully acted. All the superlatives! What a triumph from start to finish. Genuinely astonishing stuff

Had a wonderful time at the Metal Gear orchestral concert tonight. The second half going back-to-back through MGS1, 2 and 4, and ending with vocal performances for Snake Eater and When Heavens Divide was some biblical shit. So good. Got properly emotional during the medley with the main theme.

I actually had no real interest in VTM: Bloodlines 2 at first, but I have been a fan of The Chinese Room since Dear Esther in 2012, so seeing reviews say it’s not really an RPG but a narrative-driven game, in line with the studio’s usual output, shot it straight onto my must-play list. It was okay!

Did the new FFXIV deep dungeon yesterday with my FC. That was good, actually! The later floors were spicy with our shitty RNG lol. Looking forward to checking out the Quantum difficulty. Four-man difficulty choices are nice, but it seems without good rewards, it'll probably die like Criterion did.

Bunch of UHDs I ordered showed up recently. I've well and truly run out of shelf space at this point so I have no idea where these are gonna go... or the 50 other things I have on pre-order 🙃🙃🙃

That's a wrap on Ghost of Yotei! I feel like I have to preface this thread by saying it *is* a good game (just shy of an 8/10 for me), but I was very disappointed to find that it's such a far cry from Ghost of Tsushima's quality - a game with one of the finest marriages of narrative and gameplay.

I really enjoyed working on this image! Congratulations @suckerpunchprod.bsky.social and @erikaishii.bsky.social on the release of Ghost of Yōtei! 🧡

It looks stunning, and I can't wait to play it myself!

Finished up all the endings of Silent Hill f yesterday. I was excited for the game anyway, but it hooked me harder than I could ever imagined. Ryukishi07 does what he does best and delivers a powerful story about gender, repression, and adolescence... all wrapped up in pure horror and neat folklore.

It's been a week and I still have Golden going round my head endlessly. Make it stop. It's wormed its way in like Let It Go from Frozen. AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

WE'RE GOING UP UP UP IT'S OUR MOMENT 🎶
While it's a story you've seen a million times before, the unique wrapper KPop Demon Hunters dresses it up in is great. Very easy to look past the tired messaging when its characters, comedy, music, and animation are all so well done. Had a blast with it and hope the sequel takes it up another notch

I feel much more comfortable posting my opinions on the various stuff I've been watching/reading/playing on here. No matter how reasonable, tame, or well-explained I felt I was being on Twitter, I was guaranteed to be attacked in some way or taken in bad faith. Totally turned me off sharing thoughts
Have a question for those that were on Twitter heavy and are now primarily here:

Would you say you've pretty much stayed the same in terms of how/what you post (content, topics, tone) across both apps?

Did your approach to posting/sharing change significantly?

Really enjoyed reading The Dry. It's a small-town murder mystery in the Australian outback. Very detail-orientated writing with a strong emotional throughline. Big fan of how it handles perception and legacy, and how the environment feels just as on edge as the people who inhabit it.

And lastly! I watched The Paper. Much like S1 of The Office and Parks n Rec, it definitely has some questionable characters that'll no doubt see a change in S2 (Esmeralda), but it is otherwise a genuinely laugh out loud funny and charming spin-off worthy of the shows it sits alongside.

I also watched Weapons a few nights back. Such a fascinating story about pursuits of power and control, addiction, and the way it all worms its way into people's lives and everyone around them. Zach Cregger's ability to seamlessly blend genres and tones blows my mind. Huge jump over Barbarian IMO.
