I feel like there could still be an useful application for neutrino based communication. Like, trigger something on the other side of the earth 50ms faster than you could otherwise.

The handwringing, the introspections, and the blame game for Kamala’s loss, I find all this very boring. It’s too early to worry about 2028. Trump is the real danger now, and the focus should be on how to get through his term with the least damage.

The actual harm that AI is currently doing is filling the internet with slop. Regulators should be looking at how to curb that before worrying about hypothetical future “singularity”.

Because there is no efficient way to filter marketing vs utility push notifications on iPhone, I’ve disabled push for pretty much every app.
I now regularly miss eg when my Uber order arrives: so they call me. I take this over the marketing push spam Uber and other apps became.
