Just watched the 2025 Frankenstein film, having finished reading the novel on Monday. My review: It felt like someone read the CliffsNotes version 2 decades ago then wrote the script based on their memory of the novel.
Also, knowing much of the history, ending with a quote from Byron pissed me off.

Part of the additional emotional & mental load experienced by minorities that isn't often discussed is having to be constantly prepared.
Having to remain aware of the latest hate directed at people like you so you're prepared with rebuttals & the latest science whenever you next encounter bigotry.
