my hot take about that fifteen seconds of superman footage is that a big chunk of the reason it looks bad is because it's (inexplicably) cropped for cellphones. the framing of every single one of those shots is very clearly fucked up.

went into wicked kinda expecting to like it and was lowkey shocked at how much it totally lost me by the last thirty minutes or so. although i vaguely remember the stage show losing me by roughly the same point so maybe that’s not a huge shock
