Unless you have a job where people could actually die, chill out about work. You made a mistake, it's ok, no one is gonna die. Your employee fucked something up, did anyone die? Whether that status report goes out on time seems like a BFD, but I promise it isn't.

One way I'm trying (not always successfully) to keep my social media use healthy for me is to limit my posting to my personal experiences. Otherwise I find myself rephrasing hot political takes I've seen 4 other versions of and checking back to see if I've been rewarded with Internet Points.

Mindless, dogmatic, uncritical support for leaders is supposed to be their thing, not ours. Be as critical of the party to support as the party you oppose. If we don't demand better, we'll be stuck with this forever.

I watch 3 soaps (General Hospital, Beyond the Gates, and Days of our Lives) and I'm surprised as hell that General Hospital is the one I'm enjoying most right now. Normally it's at the back of the pack.

I watched John Waters 's Polyester last night for the first time and loved it. The only John Waters I've seen before is Serial Mom and Hairspray. It was so much damn fun! Best line:

The Holocaust Museum had the same thing happen to it as the Kennedy Center. Trump replaced the board with people who would be "anti-woke." Just remember who to be mad at over this. It's not the people who have dedicated their careers to educating others about genocide.
