The President is lying about Social Security as an excuse to gut Social Security after promising not to touch it.

Why? To pave the way for more tax cuts for the rich.

All of the Republicans who for years railed about "unelected bureaucrats" destroying the government are awfully quiet as an unelected bureaucrat destroys the government.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Here I react to the shameful encounter between American leaders and media and the Ukrainian president. No doubt there were more, but I saw five failures on our side: of hospitality, decency, democracy, strategy, and independence. Please watch and share.

Hundreds of workers get fired, including those tasked with producing air traffic navigation maps.

Now Starlink is reportedly in line to take over a $2 billion contract to upgrade the nation's air traffic control systems.

1. Refused to violate the law.
2. Refused to violate the Constitution.
3. Refused to bow or scrape.
4. Refused to bend a knee.
5. Deleted this stupid email.

Just saw the Oscar-nominated The Brutalist last night. It’s a great film about a Jewish refugee from Nazi persecution channeling his experience into art, and navigating the politics of the Protestant elite in 1950s US.
This is a great resource for understanding the political history of the style.
Amid the orders President Trump signed on his first day back in office was a memorandum implicitly taking aim at Brutalist buildings. By revising guidelines for public buildings, he is attempting to imbue new ideals into the nation’s built environment, Anna Kodé writes. nyti.ms/4bfV8Ag
