I definitely need a bit more practice drawing him, but given it's only the second portrait I ever did of him, I think it turned out alright.
Also, watercolour paper isn't perfect for just coloured pencil, but I still enjoyed it a lot <3

I am looking forward to having guests over and our big feast! I am also looking forward to doing NOTHING tomorrow. Nothing more strenuous than making a nice prime rib sandwich and watching TV and reading.

The dogs have been VERY good today while I have been cooking, not getting into trouble, barking, or trying to get into the food. They will be rewarded with meat and friends later.

I turned the heat up to 70 F because we’re having guests who aren’t insane, and it feels like a sauna to me.

Cool Runnings is still a fantastic movie after all these years, and I love that I can remember watching the Jamaican bobsled team on TV when I was little.
I’m rewatching Ratatouille while I cook and clean. I love this movie and I get why they did it but… do we really need to moralize about rats and stealing? They’re rats! Like sure raiding a commercial restaurant fridge is a bad idea for a number of reasons but… they’re rats.
