that this remains a problem in every creative field is so bleak. parasites at the top leeching off the people actually doing the work and suffocating their industries.
I know the games industry is having a CEO driven implosion at this moment, but it feels spectacularly weird as the indie sector is turning out some genuinely vibrant creative efforts using minimal tools and budgets. The impending collapse is easily avoidable but nah
