So I watched Honey Don't! today.
A movie I would struggle to describe as good.
but also struggle to describe as bad.
it was mostly that it happens at you for a little under 90 minutes and some of it is amazing and some of it is INTENSELY trashy

Try to understand it well enough to talk about it and get why they like it the genre they like, at least enough to talk about it. I'll probably find a few songs I can listen to and talk about.
If it is that they exclusively like music I don't, I would really struggle, but if it just a genre, I work.

Try to understand it well enough to talk about it and get why they like it the genre they like, at least enough to talk about it. I'll probably find a few songs I can listen to and talk about.

My current favorites are recommending @taliabhatt.itch.io's Dulhaniyaa to a friend who then bought a copy and recommending @badambulist.bsky.social's How to Fly to an entire group of Romance novel readers as soon as All the Way was released.
The amount of times I have recommended trans books to cis people is steadily and continually growing and I will likely never truly stop.
