The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

My heart will never be the same. I’ve loved orcas for as long as I can remember. Yesterday I spent the day on a boat with two orca naturalists, on a special tour in the Salish Sea. We met up with the T123s (Stanley watched us watching him😍) and T100s together- it was breathtaking. ❤️

It’s been a minute, sky friends. I’ve been busy living in the moment, making art, spring gardening-being distracted by all things gardening & beach + friends time.
Sometimes it’s nice to not spend as much time on social media. Filtering. It creates peace.

There's lots to unpack from this EKOS slide but the one thing I want to highlight is the purple 25% of Conservative voters who would pick the fringe PPC as their second choice. This lines up with other information suggesting that one in four Conservatives are far right and/or MAGA fans. #cdnpoli

It can often be difficult to tell Sheep (right) and Goats (left) apart, but to the trained eye there's an obvious difference:

While both commit Crimes, only Goats are aware that their actions are wrong, and are thus capable of Sin.

There was a “Maker Faire” at my 10yo’s school this morning. Kids made things to sell for anywhere from 25cents to $2.
Our purchases:
*Sparkle Pom Pom Earrings!* 🤩 yes I will wear these to the studio tomorrow. Also, some cute bee things.
It was all really well done. The kids are impressive makers.

Fascism is on the move. Trump boasts of "liberation" by trying to destroy the global economy. Today Canada and the Netherlands ponder what true liberation means. We need to remember the huge cost paid to free people from gangster regimes.

A walk through the east side garden. Yes, I now refer to east and west garden sides because there is just so much to this thoughtfully planned property we bought last September.
The spring bloom has made every moving pain lighter. We found paradise.

There are many people, including children, that have been excluded from society because they are in a group that is known to be more at risk of serious outcomes from COVID-19.

Instead of providing safer places and people to interact with, they are mocked and excluded further.

You asked, I listened

As an act of civic journalism, I contacted the Privy Council Office and the Speaker of the House of Commons to clarify if Pierre Poilievre can still serve as Leader of the Opposition and if he can continue living in his public mansion

The official answers: No and no
Pierre Poilievre no longer entitled to live at public mansion: Privy Council Office

Poilievre ineligible to live at Stornoway after losing his own seat

All kidding aside, the biggest reason to keep Poilievre out of Parliament is to change the tone. We can't operate as a civil nation when one party leader exists only to attack the other. Civil debates and factual discussions, not personal attacks and three-word slogans, please.
