It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

Questioning is safe. They'll fall in line at voting time. Because a few swing voters pale in comparison to an organized opposition led by Orange34.
But Johnson’s most immediate problem comes from swing-district Republicans who believe that the steep spending cuts Johnson wants across Medicaid, food assistance and other safety-net programs for low-income Americans could cost them their seats.

Sweeping safety-net cuts have GOP centrists questioning Johnson’s budget
Conservatives are no longer the only concern for House GOP leaders.

Who’s the deep state now?

This is Saturday Night Massacre level shit—Manhattan’s top federal prosecutor and five other senior officials resigned Thursday rather than obey a Justice Department order to drop corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

This is just sheer brazen criminality by DOJ. Adams gets federal corruption charges dropped not because there isn’t overwhelming evidence, but because he agrees to help Homan round up migrants. And Homan says the charges will be refiled if Adams doesn’t “come through.”

As if we needed any more proof that there was no person terrible enough for the Republicans to reject.

Amen! Might want to mention the Republicans who made this happen. Sounds a lot like victim-blaming to me.
Goddamn it. I am so sick of privileged white guys like Luke Russert, who wouldn't even have a career if not for his last name, blaming the Democratic Party for everything that goes wrong.

RFK Jr will be an unmitigated disaster. But it’s unfathomable how the party of the ACA & Mrs. Obama’s healthy meals and fitness initiatives lost the health debate to an unhinged nut job. Speaks to the misinformation of social media but also a weak effort to punch back.

On GOP eyeing cuts to Medicaid.
Writing for Politico on Thursday, Joanne Kenen laid it out plainly: Medicaid has expanded tremendously over the years. With 80 million people relying on it, many are working-class voters who are part of the president's so-called base.

GOP got an 'alarming glimpse at the future' as it eyes massive cut: report

Well .. how's that worked with Cabinet confirmations. Just sayin'.
This is all a good reminder that, “no help, no votes until the criminal conduct stops” is neither a big ask nor a politically perilous one.

Vacancies Orange34 will happily fill. Didn't even have to give them severance package.
NEW: At least three more DOJ Public Integrity Unit senior officials have resigned after meeting with Emil Bove on the Eric Adams case. Five in Public Integrity overall.

That’s six officials who resigned, triple the number that happened during the Saturday Night Massacre.
