When all else fails, price gouging is a corporation's best friend. "Executives are pleased." Note that they didn't somehow manage to break even; they hiked prices enough to make more. Probably priced out a lot of middle-income skiers, but the wealthy could still enjoy themselves.

Wow. Walmart's before and after logo change. Can you imagine how many millions of dollars this will cost? Our corporate values are screwed up.

Great to see new sources for independent news. But most are dependent on a subscriber model (audience "pull"). We also need a reverse fire-hose of truth to counter Republican/Russian/Iranian falsehoods. A 21st century, bot version of Voice of America to "push" truth out to the alt-right platforms.

You have no business using a Bluesky account to promote your content if you do not even bother to include the Bluesky butterfly logo on your media websites and platforms. Keep checking and all I see are the logos of the right-wing echo chambers and "other".

Russian bots flood social media with dis/misinformation. Could we not create a tech consortium of truth bots to flood social media with with accurate information? Nothing confrontative that triggers their algorithms, just tons and tons of accurate information flooding into the NEG-iverse.
