Matt (@deptofmeteors.bsky.social) made a dreamy poetic board game called 'air light water moon shadow sky' and you can order it from Bathers Library today! And in a very Matt move he recorded drone music for players to listen to while playing (lap steel!).

I'm making final (?) edits to a novel and it feels like being inside a sock that I'm darning various holes in / also kind of feels like being inside a cocoon. I guess the thing about sewing is that it doesn't matter how messy the inside is. Trying to figure out how I feel about being in the cocoon.

There are still spots available in my virtual collaborative poetry writing workshop :) Writing collaboratively is a way to resist alienation, embrace interdependence, & reconnect with the pure pleasure of writing — I'm obsessed with it & you can be too! No poetry or collaboration experience needed.
What happens when we “animate [our] privacy with another person’s magic”? I'm leading a virtual collaborative poem writing workshop via @poetshouse.bsky.social on September 20 and I hope you'll join / spread the word! There are need-based scholarships available.

A great song (that in my personal opinion could be one minute shorter), I hadn't thought of it in a long time and then my toddler fell down and wasn't really phased by it and a friend said "she's so tough!"

I personally think collaborative writing is the perfect antidote to the doom & isolation many of us are trying hard not to feel 💜

Just realized that the reason I didn't get a grant 2 years ago is that I never submitted the application 😂

Just reread the review a doctor wrote of Tender Points years ago and am cracking up at the line "Yet for all her truth telling, Berkowitz reaches some questionable conclusions about physicians and the field of medicine"

I don’t get the commotion about the new press that plans to focus on male writers. It’s unsurprising, inevitable, and frankly boring. Men have been doing stuff like this for years. No judgement if you wanna share the article online but may I suggest - we don’t have to give these guys more attention.

Days before Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that 10,000 HHS staffers would lose their jobs, a message appeared on NIH research repository sites saying they were "under review."

As long as we're talking about passover, we cook the same things almost every year - brisket*, asparagus, mashed potatoes, farfel. I yearn for change but also I love these things. Tell me your suggestions.

I finally did it. I made a version of the four children with Sesame Street characters. Here's a PDF if you want to include it in your haggadah this year!

If your writing, like mine, was used to train Meta’s AI without your consent, you can fill out this form to let them know how you feel about it. I did it, it took less than 5 minutes. actionnetwork.org/letters/auth...

I was at a bookstore today and someone was roaming the aisles while talking very loudly on the phone about how they wanted a haircut but haircuts were too expensive and how their nonbinary friends don't get along with their trans friends. And I wouldn't be telling you this except they were SO LOUD!
