Does it count if the plants are outside in the vegetable garden? Alas, the rest is true.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Had fun talking in class today about that time when:
-rural voters got freaked out by urban protesters pushing for equal rights for ALL
-voters picked a famous guy they thought'd restore their country's glory days
-that guy won, cancelled democracy & said he was 👑

What to make of the phlox

that blooms out of season,

mere moments before killing frosts,

when with no hope of fitness,

no rhyme and no reason,

brings beauty regardless of costs?

Good eels make good neighbors. Sometimes.

In 1410, the Archbishop of Canterbury & the Earl of Arundel got in a fight about eel fishing rights on the Ouse in Sussex. Each wanted sole rights to set nets & traps in the river.

It got so bad that King Henry IV had to intervene. 1/3

So people only start to #compost in the spring? None of the #garden or hardware stores in my area have bins for sale rn. I guess my pile is going into old garbage cans until I can get something shipped.

I give you Pepper Thee Pepper. This bell pepper plant grew from a seed a child planted after most pepper plants are well-established in our area. Pepper sprouted, was nibbled by a rabbit, persisted, and in October set flowers. One grew to this teensy bell pepper that I love. #Gardening #TinyJoys
