A private equity–owned airline is profiting from Trump’s migrant crackdown. Now, deportation flights are getting longer and crueler as a result.

Migrants said they sometimes soil themselves in their seats. Even when permitted to use the lavatory, it's difficult to clean themselves while shackled.

My Irish ancestors couldn’t get jobs when they first arrived in the US. Being proud of Scottish and Irish heritage has not always been a thing, Elon.
This odious white supremacist needs to learn some history.

Not so long ago, it was common to see "Irish need not apply" in job listings in the United States. You know, the same type of pernicious prejudice that Elon exhibits regularly.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

Since the start of Trump’s second term, the number of children in ICE detention has increased sixfold.

In their letters, kids held at the Dilley center told us about missing their friends, being unable to go to school and feeling trapped.

Featured today is one of the fossils that stumped Darwin: Toxodon! This beast proved challenging for young Darwin to identify, featuring rodent-like, ever growing teeth - albeit much bigger than any living rodent! Richard Owen, later Darwin's rival, formally described and named them. #FossilFriday

When the Supreme Court allowed immigration agents to consider race during sweeps, Justice Brett Kavanaugh said that citizens shouldn’t be concerned because agents will “promptly let the individual go.”

For these Americans, that wasn’t true.

I feel crazy at how everyone is acting like this is normal. These are concentration camps being built right before our eyes. These buildings are not meant to house human beings. People will be caged like cattle and die.
