I can’t do this again. I can’t wake up every morning with a pit in my stomach. Why did this happen? The last four years I struggled some financially but other than that I felt okay. Now the depression and anxiety are in full force again.

I’m lucky the delay in my direct deposit didn’t affect me this week. But most of my adult life I’ve lived waiting for that paycheck to drop to buy groceries and pay bills. Capital one owes its customers more than an emailed apology. I will be ending my relationship with them.

Zero clue what posts are copied and which are original thoughts anymore. Once I figure out which is a copy I block, but it was basically why I left threads. Engagement farming is stupid, why can’t we just share original content and connect that way? Yeah I know that’s not how it works.

Starting my 12th novel since the election when I deactivated TikTok, Facebook, and instagram, and stopped reading AP news. Not sure when or if I’ll return to FB. But my goal is to read every @jodipicoult.bsky.social novel she has written and I’m halfway through.
