I very rarely have an “all hope is lost” moment, but the number of people taking seriously a fake, photoshopped Mamdani tweet purportedly celebrating the explosion of the Challenger shuttle (1986), when Mamdani was born in 1991 and Twitter didn’t launch until 2006, has done it.
