I'm witnessing a tragedy unfold. There's high schoolers talking about how Peppa Pig is still running, and one guy is trying to joke about it going woke. He had to fight for everyone's attention to say "Mummy Pig is going to be a lesbian and cheat on Daddy Pig" and they just ignored him

The thing I find about demystifying your sci-fantasy setting is you have to go in with an early idea of what's on and off the table. Revealing certain truths can serve a planned story but explaining the whole thing away can lose a lot of the sauce. It's all intentionality innit
