I wish people would stop fixating on causes and cures for Autism and neurodiversity more broadly. It's time people listen to us, especially Neurodivergent people of color, women and others who are often excluded. Let actually Autistic and Neurodivergent people take the lead. This shouldn't be hard.

Fans of performing arts - what are we meant to do about the Kennedy Center, ethically? It feels that we shouldn't boycott (yet), because 1) these performers are already so under-resourced, 2) most shows through this season were booked years ago, and 3) unlike Amazon, I would hate to see it go under.

Commissioner Slaughter and I just sued to clarify that we're still FTC commissioners. But this is bigger than us. This is about economic stability. If the President can break a 90-year-old Supreme Court ruling to fire us for no reason, he can do it to the Fed, the FDIC and SEC.

The president’s attempt to fire me doesn’t just hurt consumers. It also hurts small businesses like the ones we’re trying to protect in our lawsuit against Amazon.

The president is trying to fire me. Who does this help? Is it going to help the family struggling to pay for medicine or groceries or rent? Or is it going to help the billionaires behind the president at his inauguration? My interview with @npr.org Morning Edition: www.npr.org/2025/03/20/n...

Commissioners Bedoya and Slaughter worked tirelessly to hold billionaires and massive corporations accountable, so it's no surprise they've been targeted by Trump and Musk. This is yet another gift from Trump to the rich and powerful that profit off of ripping off consumers.

If we can "avoid a government shutdown" by voting for this CR, then why is the entire Department of Education closed today? Why is USAID closed? Why are hundreds of billions in grant contracts frozen?

We are already in the shutdown. And your votes DON'T stop it. In fact, they allow it to expand.
