Hegseth should fvck off back to Fox and our PM is right, we decide how much we spend on our military, not Trump. Hegseth is a dangerous moron #auspol

It absolutely has a mandate for the promises it made - anything after that is a political judgement call. The real issue is who will stand in the way and the constraints on reform from decades of budget rigging by Tories? Labor governs in reality - the rest of us post in a fantasy #auspol
Labor supporters spent the first term telling everyone to be patient; slow, but sure progress was the way.

There is no excuse anymore and instead we’re getting “Labor has a mandate”.

Sounds like progress is a ways off yet. But be patient…

The media frenzy over Biden's mental condition is a distraction from what they should be covering, Trumps destruction of America and the world order for personal gain. Time is almost up for the media to show some guts and accurate reporting on Trump's admin. #auspol

While the Labor Govt is being sworn in, after a historic victory, the @abcnewsbot.bsky.social is stuck filming the empty halls of parliament house waiting for the loser of the Libs leadership vote, Angus Taylor, to emerge. Absolute programming fail #auspol

Poor Gina. Is there anyone remaining on the right of politics that pays her any attention? I mean, apart from JNP, but she is in the Senate and pretty much isolated from the powerful now that Dutts has gone and her turn as a convenient political wedge has passed. #auspol

The Coalition learned nothing. Once more we are forced to listen to the ad nauseum repeat of analysis on why they lost the election. Just replay the audio and videos from 2022, because we’ve heard it all before. Voter demographics have changed, the Coalition is stuck in 1996. Bless #audpol

The Brethren buy up large parcels of land, land banking if you will. How would the Brethren benefit from the Liberals housing policy? #auspol

The Brethen don't and enjoy tax free status.

I call on Peter Dutton to explain why they have recruited the Brethren to support them with manpower at this election. What is the pay-off? #auspol

Who is keeping tabs of the Ch7 debate? Dutton has fvcked up twice so far and was flustered when he ran overtime, PM is performing well. Am I biased in my assessment? #auspol

LOL Dutton saying a vote for the Greens is a vote for Anthony Albanese. Let’s remind him a vote for PHON is a vote for the Coalition. A vote for Pauline Hansen and Malcolm Roberts, both far right and overtly racist, are votes for Peter Dutton #auspol

WTAF two out of three give the debate to Dutton because he ‘performed better this debate’! Are you kidding me? The bar is so low for the opposition just turning up scores winning points at this a stage. What a waste of Albos valuable time. #auspol

So, the US are in talks with Ukraine and if there is no progress with the talks the US will walk away.

How is AUKUS in our best interests when it is glaringly obvious the incompetent, under qualified US administration would throw us under a bus if push came to shove. #auspol

Last night was the second time in this campaign that Dutton admitted to being wrong, + the second time this year that he publicly overreacted and overreached on matters of national security before being properly briefed. An ex cop and a politician of over 20 years should know and do better #auspol

Harry's tax cut is terrible policy
Dutton's policy is to give people who can already afford to enter the housing market a tax payer subsidy for five years on the repayments they can already afford to make. It does not increase supply, help lower income people get a deposit, or enter the market. It's a tax break for the wealthy.
In all the talk about Dutton bringing his son on the campaign trail to try and prove he 'gets' the housing market issues, one thing is missing – his housing policy only benefits people like his son who is already wealthy enough to get into it live.australiainstitute.org.au/2025/04/aust...

The Coalition is throwing money at the housing crisis without addressing the core issues that keep young people out of the market, supply and affordability.

Tax deductions on mortgage payments are useless if you can't find an affordable house. #auspol
