In today's Sims 4 update, there's a controls overlay that appears once you load into a lot. Don't want it? Go into the Tutorials & Tips section of the options menu and uncheck the Enable Help Center Icon & Controls Legend checkbox. Or uncheck Show Controls Legend on Help Center!

A little tip for the Sims 2 that has helped me recently,
I've gotten so used to to flexibility of the Sims 4 and moving rooms around. The Sims 2 is more permanent than that haha. So I've been laying out some of my recent builds using floor tiles, and basic furniture before I build the walls! 😁

Thanks to HugeLunatic you can add the IKEA pack to your Sims 2 Legacy Edition! You need to make a Downloads folder in your Documents > EA Games > Sims 2 Legacy Folder and extract/copy the files
