Since I had to start a new save because of the endless glitches I had caused by installing and removing mods, it's time to start a 4th story with the twins. So hold on to your knickers cause there's already a lot to catch up with in just a month of gameplay.

First I changed these pieces to "Head decorations" and nothing showed up in head decorations. Then I kept them as hats but changed the hat category to head decorations. Now they all show up where they're supposed to. When I feel like it I'll do it to everything else that should be in the category

I dont know what i did that i lost my reshade preset… well, let’s watch @amoebae.bsky.social tutorials again to come up with a new one. This time i want some more pink-ish and well lit on sim’s faces…
Now on to test what I've gotten (thank you Adrien Pastel for reuploading stuff that was long gone!) and what I've changed categories to see if it all works.

The downside of downloading any new cc is having to run all fixes & index number fix for everything downloaded. It generates more backups to delete and takes a long time to fix depending on how much cc you've added to your folder. Just spent about 1h30 hours doing this... in the end it's worth it!

I'm doing another test here. I'm moving some stuff that is categorised as hats but are not exactly hats. You know, ear muffs, headphone, sunglasses on top of the head, bunny ears, etc. I'm setting these as head decorations. Hoping it works, since the skin effects I tried moving didn't work.

Just found out adrien pastel posted a huge folder of retired cc. Time to go through it and see what i want to keep!

I removed something labelled as "glasses" when it fact it was in the eyeliner category. The one labelled as "eyeliner" was actually a skin detail.

I really don’t remember removing no make up from my mods folder but apparently i did because i’ve been opening some households on cas and it shows something’s been removed. Unless it was hidden in a folder outside make up i have no clue what i did.

I have eyelashes that mod manager won't show in eyelashes category, skin details that show up as blush, shoes for males that only show up for females. It's hard to understand how or why that happens in mod manager.
Also mod manager says there's an update, but there's nothing on the site

There's this one sim I literally remade him last week, changed everything, replaced a lot of missing cc, etc, and there is still one piece of cc tray importer says it's missing, supposedly an eyeliner. And I'm like... that's impossible! I removed all make up before saving him. Maybe it's a bug.

Edit: I was right. It's Skin Specularity indeed for anything to show up under Skin Effects.

In case you don’t know, cargo pants are the most hideous shape of pants to ever come out of the 90s and shapeshift into the monstrosity of the 2000’s that people still look for today as “vintage”. All i ever wanted was pants that make me shaped like a square. Not!

Sooo as a last thing I'm doing for my library organising I'm redownloading a folder of 14gb of cc that I know a lot of stuff I used to use is there. I have long deleted around 90% of that content since it's mostly not my current style, but my older sims are all butt naked!

About a week late for halloween, I am finally being able to play the MILF Ball! However... I think I'm demanding too much of the game so it's lagging quite a bit and giving me blue overlays of death once in a while. But the boyssesses are there!
