Aghhh I hate when I get into the flow of drawing, but then the sketches become *too precious* to continue. It’s so dumb. I run into this so often, and I keep psyching myself out because I think Imma ruin the art!

What got me into art? I really like cool things and I wanted to “possess” cool things as much as possible. My first sketchbook was literally me drawing pretty girls from media I loved and needing a piece of it for myself.
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

Man I ain’t ever read a book with such longing and intimacy like The Everlasting (by @alixeharrow.bsky.social). I’m 80 pages in and my heart feels like its two seconds away from being shoved off a cliff. The excitement of the drop and pain to follow 😭

idk why this concept is difficult to grasp for a lot of people and doesn't take priority over wether or not liking wizards makes you a good person. Dont give her money! The money funds evil! its truly that simple
