Great day out campaigning in Frome Vale yesterday with our very own MP Damien Egan. Big shoutout to local musical artist and Frome Vale's very own band member Chezney Newman from the Fire Pit Collective who I bumped into along the way for a good chin wag. #supportlocalartists #LabourParty #Bristol

"A Budget That Would Make Thatcher Blush"
Key services and the most vulnerable in our community are set to bear the brunt of these severe Green cuts. From public transport to community support services, this budget will hit our city's most disadvantaged hardest.

I completely agree with Cllr Mohammed Malawi, why are these BT phone boxes being left in place when they are never used for their intended purpose? They are commonly used for drugs hot spots, public urination and vandalism. I'd much prefer a bench where people can sit and enjoy their communities.

Around the world too many lives are lost every year to violence against trans people. So today we honour the memories of those who have been lost.

Bristol City Council is not (yet) on Bluesky.
Please retweet this if you think that all local councils should open Bluesky accounts and use them for communicating with the public.
This will help me to make the case locally for them to get on it!
