I don’t think the Smiling Friends joke or character was meant to be aimed at or represent trans people.
But there can still be reasonable concerns about transphobia emerging from jokes about cross dressers, as people “pretending” to be male/female has often been the go-to joke at their expense.

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

Not to psycho-analyze random fandom people but I feel like alot of shallow or bad takes in regards to character writing say ALOT about how someone doesn't grasp the fact that a person's growth isn't linear.
