Maybe my expectations were too high but I'm a little disappointed in Green Day's opening show -- not the performance itself, but it's more because they seemed basically neutered by the studios execs against doing their usual anti-MAGA stuff. I guess it's probably to be expected but still. 😅

There's not a single piece of paper my dad's come in contact with that he's actually thrown away since like the 80's, so the amount of paperwork I now have to sort through is OBSCENE.

The state of my dad’s house is just shocking. He’s had some hoarding tendencies for a long time but the past few years it went completely out of control without anyone knowing. I have no idea how he lived like this and subjected his poor dog to it for so long.

In about 12 hours I'm going to be on an absurdly early flight then go directly to the house my dad died and rotted in for several days before he was found... maybe I'll skip breakfast. 😓

I don’t really care how prevalent a fandom is, it will always be super fucking weird to write romantic fanfiction about real people, i.e. Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, etc. Especially if they’ve got different romantic partners and families already, don’t do that shit.

I’m so sad Prue is leaving the Great British Baking Show. I totally understand why, she’s in her mid-80’s and she deserves to spend the rest of her years doing whatever brings her joy. She’s just been such a delight and I’m going to miss her greatly. 😩

I just realized that for once I'm actually glad I had to work on Saturday, which I only do on very rare occasions, otherwise I would've been livestreaming when I got the call that my dad died... oh that would've been exceedingly unfun. 🥴

I know the world is scary and depressing right now.
But don't forget to protect your peace. Video games help me recharge and escape when I feel overwhelmed, and sometimes we need that. We're all human.
It's good to fight back, but you can't fight as hard if your mind is heavy. Take care of it too.
