Sandra Caron (1936-2025), who has died aged 89.
The sister of singer Alma Cogan, close friend of The Beatles, she was part of their social circle. She’s possibly best known for appearing in Carry On Camping and her regular roles as first Mumsie then Auntie Sabrina in The Crystal Maze.

Sandra Caron (1936-2025), who has died aged 89.

Saw The Beatles Anthology with a glimpse of Derek Royle as Jolly Jimmy in Magical Mystery Tour. I saw him in this 1988 West End production and I vividly recall that after I then rushed off to Waterloo to catch a train to see Royle already ahead of me on the escalator! He died just over a year later.
