So having always chosen BBC for dual broadcasts, have to say we'll be going with ITV for the final on Sunday. Much better coverage throughout the tournament.

Out & about with work today, popped into Sainsburys Upton for a quick cuppa. To my horror it's now a Starbucks & it is taking an age to pour hot water on a tea bag.

Any old Dads put there with ideas for Fathers Day gifts?
Mine has everything he needs. Done with buying him things I think he'd like. Very lucky to still have him around. Asked him today what he'd like response "is that why your sister has sent me an envelope I'm not allowed to open til Sunday" 🤦♀️

My sister & her lot are here for the weekend. Last night I bowed out early & took a brew up to bed & watched Portillo. This morning I'm on the patio with the national trust magazine & the Merlin App. I feel middle age & contentment have landed 😀

Sick with nerves about the game today. Got a family thing so will be checking updates every minute which is an immense turnaround from February when I didn't even bother to look for the final scores! Nice to have hope again!

Woke in agony at 5-30, which is really 4-30. Wracked my brains for 2 hours trying to fathom what I could have done in the last couple of days to cause a shoulder injury. Only thing I can come up with is excessive clapping & arm waving on Friday night which is the only new activity! 😂

Happy New Year to all & Happy Birthday to me. An observation, there are now the same number of years between now and the millennium as there were between the end of the war & my birth. Also I am older than my Nana was when I was born. Feeling a little aged and blessed to be so.

1st time since having kids we're not entertaining or going anywhere today. Loving the day so far as I've only had to do the breakfast which we just finished as there's no rush. Merry Christmas to you all whatever way you're choosing to spend the day.
