Back in York from visiting mother for 48 hours. She lives alone. She's 88 on Sunday. Caring for someone that old isn't easy for me..even though we get on, and I've worked in the caring industry for decades.....you do your best and hope it's enough.

Five mile walk completed in an hour and a quarter keeping the old carcass active. Cold though...-2C when I set off. 7.20 am start so I saw the sun rise. Lungs full of fresh cold air. Blissful.🥶

Bloody ❄️ halved my four mile walk to two miles. It just became too lethal under foot, and the snow was no longer melting on my bare legs....pah.
