I am a keynote speaker, virtual event expert, and a video meeting advisor. I have had a checkered career in the technology industry, where I have spent most of my time explaining complex concepts to people in ways that they can put them to practical use.
The U.S. Army just about sums it all up, I'd say.

"It can't happen here." Are you sure? Do you care whether we protect democracy for all in this country?

Joyce Vance @joycewhitevance.bsky.social:

"...between 2018 and 2022, 223 people were shot by officers working for or with the four primary federal law enforcement agencies, and that 151, or an average of 30 per year, were killed."

Why does our federal government continue to lie to us about matters that can be so easily proven to be otherwise? Do they think we're that stupid? ...that we don't care? ...or that we won't find out?

We need a government that serves the people, not lies.

Last week I asked BOP officials if they had sent tactical teams to Minneapolis. They denied it (left).

Multiple agency sources told me otherwise, and photos from
reporters on the ground soon confirmed BOP folks were there.

Now BOP is finally admitting it (right):

When a plane crashes, the NTSB takes a year or more before announcing an analysis of the causes.

When an ICE officer kills a US citizen, our Attorney General announces that the officer is innocent, before there is ANY investigation.

See the difference?

Let's not stop at ICE. We need to shut down DHS and return its components to where they were pre 9/11. This experiment is not working as intended.
Speaker Mike Johnson: "We should not be limiting funding for Homeland Security at a dangerous time. We need public officials to allow law enforcement to do their jobs."

***THEY DON'T CARE THAT THEY ARE VIOLATING THE LAW!***

That's how the Administration operates. They say it out loud. The President says that his only constraint is "his morality", not the law.

We must defend the Constitutiona and the rule of law if they are to be preserved.

Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."

Six more budget bills to pass both houses in just three weeks.

I don't think even Wilbur and Orville could get these off the ground in time.

What choices remain? Yet another CR or a shutdown?

The Congressional Republicans repeatedly prove that they are incapable of governing.
January 8, 2026 at 4:16 PM
Is there any part of the Executive Branch of our federal government that you trust to conduct a fair and thorough investigation of this fatal ICE shooting?

If your answer is "No," think about that for a moment.

Is it possible to restore trust in our government? How could we do that?

Telehealth is not just about saving lives in sparsely populated rural areas. It's about helping patients in cities and underserved communities. It's about helping patients with chronic conditions or mobility issues or financial constraints that make it difficult to get to healthcare providers.

Hey, Congress! Here's a radical idea; how about you do the job that you were elected to do, that you swore an oath to do, and that we the taxpayers PAY YOU TO DO!

Maybe start by finally passing a budget, insead of more Continuing Resolutions and government shutdowns. Is that too much to ask?
January 6, 2026 at 3:52 PM
Roberts shares some of the blame, to be sure, but the buck truly stops at Mitch McConnell's desk. He had not one, but two clear opportunities to stop ALL of this, but he was a coward. "We'll let the courts handle it."

He failed our nation and now we reap the whirlwind that he could have stopped.
No discussion of democracy. No discussion of elections. Plenty of talk by Trump about running the country and taking the oil. Let’s not forget to thank John Roberts for his role in immunizing this international criminal.
January 4, 2026 at 2:59 PM
No more CRs! Congress: do your job and pass a budget (even if the President thinks he can just ignore it).

I'm fine with another government "partial" shutdown because it will be further proof the Congressional Republicans are incapable of governing.

The sooner that voters realize this, the better!

Pam Bondi must be forced immediately to come before Congress -- under oath and in public -- to explain this and other redactions. I don't see how any of these fall under the limited exceptions under the law.
Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

So apparently there are many Epstein files on the DOJ website where you can highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it onto another document to read the redactions
