I am a keynote speaker, virtual event expert, and a video meeting advisor. I have had a checkered career in the technology industry, where I have spent most of my time explaining complex concepts to people in ways that they can put them to practical use.
She should just ask the Labor Department for the contact info for the models they used for their "Build the Future" posters. I'm sure any one of them would be cool with becoming a trad husband.

The President is just one person. The only power he has is that which has been ceded to him by others.

Our job is to make it more painful for those enablers to keep up their support of him than it would be to join the opposition and defend our Constitution and our country.

Please release the unedited transcript of that phone call with Mayor Lurie. I'm not sure that the President is providing an accurate accounting of the conversation.

And please don't tell me that it doesn't exist; that would be a confession of a Presidential Records Act violation.

❌❌❌ STOP THE COUP! ❌❌❌

[Is there any doubt that it's happening in full force? When was the last time that U.S. citizens actively worried that elections might be blocked/cancelled/overruled? Why were there "TRUMP 2028" hats in the Oval Office?]

If it is indeed a false narrative, the answer is simple; PROVE IT!

Release the files!

I am SO TIRED of the NYT headlines. (The articles still do a decent job of reporting, it appears.) I'm not quite ready to cancel my subscription as I did with WaPo, but I'm getting close....

What has gone unsaid is that Homan apparently could be bought for just $50K. That strikes me a chickenfeed in most circles.

According to the US Department of Agriculture, more than 42 million Americans* rely on the SNAP food support program. States are running out of funds for the program due to the shutdown.

Congressional Republicans could end the shutdown tomorrow.

Once Congress regains its senses, Job 1 should be shoring up the Insurrection Act to make it less vulnerable to abuse.

Let's hope that the horse has not escaped the barn before they can strengthen the door.

Democracy Docket reported on the hearings about the redistricting process in Texas, including:

"Kincaid had numerous contacts with the White House and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) over the redistricting effort — including sending messages on Signal that were set to automatically delete."

Which part of arresting reporters, detaining U.S. citizens without warrants, disappearing U.S. citizen children, indicting political enemies, conducting extrajudicial executions in international waters, or ignoring judicial orders and consent decrees is patriotic?

Did YOU vote for this?

CONGRESS! Honor your oath of office and do your job. Exercise your requirement to oversee the Department of Justice and put an end to their illegal and political activities.

Yes, the federal shutdown is painful and expensive.

But without ACA subsidies, 4 MILLION U.S. citizens will lose their healthcare insurance for NEXT YEAR. The cascading effects of these uninsured people will end up costing more for all of us.

My ballot is already in the mail.

I want everyone to vote, no matter what their opinions might be. This country is based on democracy (yes, a constitutional republic, but based on democracy) and that works best when everyone participates.

And the best way to STOP THIS COUP is to vote!

This shutdown is bad. Really bad.

But falling again for a promise from the President and Congressional Republicans would be worse for this country. They have proven repeatedly that their word cannot be trusted.

Stand your ground! STOP THE COUP!

Broadband access is an accepted Social Determinant of Health. Denying service -- especially to rural communities -- just adds up to higher healthcare costs in the end. And we all pay for that.
