Today’s #WorkFromRoam office is a Hervey Bay cafe. I’m challenging a #FOI charge of $829 to access docs on Govt progress on a national radioactive waste facility - a fair request, I say, given Govts have spent 50 years, and hundreds of $million, not solving the problem. #auspol

From their actions, Labor and the LNP are not strengthening democracy in Australia but actively weakening it.

The media keeps pushing the lie that fossil fuels are cheaper than renewables. They’re not. CSIRO and AEMO show solar and wind are far cheaper. The fossil fuel lobby funds the lie, and half our grid’s already renewable. The transition’s happening, like it or not.

These are the biggest reforms to Australia’s environment laws in 25 years.

Our laws must protect nature, give industry clarity, and ensure communities have a real say.

I’ll work in good faith with the Government to get this right.

Labor’s environmental law overhaul: a little progress and a lot of compromise
Labor’s long-awaited environmental reforms do represent progress. But ambition levels have been dialled back and much depends on the detail.

Labor always tries to rush proposed legislation through when they don't want it everybody's because they know the electorate won't find it palatable 😡
It's hard to convey just how truly terrible the @albomp.bsky.social government's Environment Protection Reform Bill is, they've outdone themselves! If this bill, in its current form, passes, the places and wildlife we love are about to have even more pain, death and destruction heaped onto them!

Albanese is a true politician: appeasing the electorate by telling them fairy tales but effectively doing the opposite.
The Albo government is very concerned about making sure the very rich stay very rich

The Albo government is also very concerned that foreign corporations don’t have pay too much (any in most cases) tax in Australia

This is how Albo ‘fights tories’

Let’s hear his log cabin story again..🙄

It looks certain that Albanese will squander the goodwill and trust of the electorate.
No real action on the climate catastrophe, WA NWShelf Woodside project, #NACC dud, wrong appointments, Jillian Segal, AUKUS, and all the rest.

What Albo has not done, NG, CG Tax, housing, gambling, lobbyists in Parliament Houses 24/7, etc will be his legacy. A lost one off golden opportunity.

The half-life of humiliation and the hunger for revenge
The trauma, humiliation and rage of those that survive are concomitants of the indiscriminate killing with impunity and the deracination of innocent men, women and children by the invaders and occupiers of a country.
