A few days ago, Berlin opened a new stretch of urban motorway, with the stated aim to reduce congestion.

Today, the stretch was temporarily closed because of too much congestion.

There was a big spike up in unaffordability in the late 1970s, but nothing compared to the 1980s, or the last few years.

People blame “greedy landlords!” but they’re just responding to conditions that we create.

Limiting housing below demand makes neighbourhoods/cities more exclusive, period. One project on its own doesn’t matter, but when it’s a pattern, yes.

Maybe it'll become a trend for people to menace the mayor of Vancouver by brandishing colourful artwork made by small children at him.
Beyond parody: while debating the motion to re-instate natural gas heating in new buildings, Mayor Sim and Cllr. Brian Montague described the colourful artwork created by children & displayed by Cllrs Fry & Carr "intimidating" to those who express pro-gas opinions. Demand the signs be taken down.

Might be a hot take but can y’all stop posting screenshots of your tweets as reshares? It completely defeats the point of being here.
