We truly are reverse America
December 7, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Indefinitely? It’s possible but I wasn’t feeling it. Didn’t really notice when I was at Lougheed Hospital looking out, either.

I’m not really sure what we’re expecting from country that gave us “seat belts in school buses are a bad idea”.

We are gaining a notoriety for stupid policies when it comes to transportation.

Difficulties in fairness and independence largely vary by province.

Saskatchewan reviews its boundaries by legislative committee, for instance.
December 6, 2025 at 5:49 AM
On top of what the other commenters said, the flaw of our system is the legislature sets the rules observed by the momentary or permanent commissions. This does equate to a form of gerrymandering in a number of cases, with AB recently trying to skew representation further in favour of rural ridings.
